Statutory Provision of PSHE

Following discussions with opposition parties the Government tabled  last minute amendments to the Children, Schools and Families Bill to enable parts of the Bill to be passed into law before Parliament was dissolved.

The statutory provision of PSHE was one of the key provisions that were taken out because no agreement could be reached betweenthe Government and the opposition parties.  Future guidance on SRE will be one hold until after the general election.
